Fredrik and cool Toxic True Fire

Fredrik and cool Toxic True Fire

Fredrik flew in from Sweden for a 1:1 Course on the farm and we had a blast. I haven't laughed that much in ages! We managed to actually get some work done too - check the True Fire piece he worked on, very cool. (Too much rum though!!)

Nikki from Bournemouth

Nikki from Bournemouth

Nicki showed that with a little confidence boost and some guidence she could create stunning pieces of art completely in her own creative and I thought, very unique way. Well done Nicki, I was very proud of you.

Paul from N Ireland

Paul from N Ireland

Paul popped over from County Down, N Ireland to take a class with Beej at the farm in Wiltshire. A very talented artist in his own right, Paul works as a sculptor when he's not airbrushing.

Dariusz from Poland

Dariusz from Poland

Dariusz flew over from Polska to spend 3 days with me at the farm on a one on one class. We had a great time and Darek is a great artist. His airbrush & graffitti work is brilliant and we're planning a trip over there to tag some walls with him in the future.

Luke from Southampton

Luke from Southampton

Luke is pretty local (well, compared to Tailand!) in Southampton and showed incredible, natural ability with his artwork. He has a love for dragon and flames and so, I threw him in at the deep end - and he swam along just fine! Hp-CH and Micron with Medea Textile paint - amazing detail for a newbie, the force is strong with you Luke!

Guns from Berkshire

Guns from Berkshire

Guns showed that working on the armoury section for films like Braveheart meant he was pretty talented when it came to weilding a weapon - in this case, his trusty Iwata Eclipse! Ian makes a great job of re-working his own company logo using Medea Textile Black and Com Art rendering this skull on the Maltese Cross. Nice one Ian . .

Eliott from London

Eliott from London

Eliott proves that even at the age of 15 you can take that airbrush and tame it! Eliott has a great future in airbrushing and it was a pleasure working with someone so enthusiastic when it comes to learning a new creative ability. Eliott has some great ideas and took a couple of superb pieces away with him to make all his mates very jealous of the cool few days he'd spent painting.

Eliott from London

Eliott gets stuck in with Beej's Organic Flame Stencils. Nice work bro . .

Mick from Blue Tattoo Brighton

Mick from Blue Tattoo Brighton

Mick came down to the farm with his mate and co-working tattoo artist, Jason. These guys rocked! Mick is pictured airbrushing flames after I showed him how to layer Auto Air colours to get the True Fire effect. He did a great job.

Jason from Blue Tattoo Brighton

Jason from Blue Tattoo Brighton

Jason proved that his airbrush work was just as good as his inking! This piece was designed by Jason one evening while staying here in Downton and his rendering of it with Com Art and Auto Air was superb.

The Ways of the Dragon

The Ways of the Dragon

Jason (above) had never painted a portrait before he came on the course but made a superb job of this Bruce Lee, white PPG Deltron on Black aliminium sign panel.

Eclipse detail

Eclipse detail

Scuff (above) - already a very competant tattoo artist - took one of our Organic designs and tamed it creatively with the Eclipse CS, White PPG and House of Kolor Kandy's

Screaming Flames

Screaming Flames

Ian the Tat (above), another excellent tattoo artist, shows that with a little tuition with the Custom Micron and 30mins of learning how to mix Deltron basecoat correctly, flaming skull detail in a custom piece is easier to achieve than he had originally expected!

Striping & Scrolling

Striping & Scrolling

Beej signpainted his first coach at the age of 14 for a Cub Scouts band and went on to spend many years working as a signwriter with brush and mahl stick. Pinstriping and scroll striping takes patience and lots of practice but Beej will show you some good tips to get you going with a Mack Dagger & Scrolling brushes, One Shot sign paint & House of Kolor Striping eurethanes. If you are interested in learning more on pinstriping or sign painting please email Beej as he is planning new classes devoted to traditional brush arts.

Svee and the Mike Learn Skull

Svee and the Mike Learn Skull

Svee was using one of USA's top airbrush artists, Mike Learn's, masking system. We encourage students to delve into the supportive world of excellent DVD's available out there today and you can purchase many titles either on the day at the workshop or right here from the on-line store.

Don't believe how some creative time airbrushing can change your life? Listen to what some others have said already . . .

'Beej, just wanted to say thanks for the 1-2-1 course mate. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and learned a shed load. The missus loves the stuff I did, especially the business logo! If anyone gets the chance to do a 1-2-1 with Beej, DO IT! You will not regret it one bit..'

'Guns' Custom Bike Builder Anglo-American Custom Cycles LTD - Berkshire

'The course was excellent. As a relative beginner to airbrushing I went with some pre conceptions of what I would learn. The course covered aspects of Art that I didn't expect, We all have within us a basic skill of drawing and you were able to tease that out and rekindle my imaginative side. With basic designs how you can manipulate them into quite stunning visuals using Photoshop I found very exciting. No longer will I be sat looking at a blank piece of paper.'

Derek Stainton - County Durham

'I attended one of Beej's one on one courses . If anybody is having any thoughts on going on one the answer is do it!!! Best money I have spent and best time I have had for a while, you come away full of enthusiasm ready to get that magic wind wand flowing when you get home. Secondly he's a top man with a top family both Beej & Maddy make you welcome from the moment you get there till the moment you leave. Just got to save up to go again.

Shane - Exeter

'A million thanks for the training you gave to Kris. This was just what he needed! I can't tell you how miserable he'd been since last year but now he is thrilled with the time he spent with you and enthusiastic about his future. This is priceless and I consider it one of the best investments I have ever made.'

Julie Barrett - Gloucestershire

'Just to say thanks again for what was a brilliant course. I learnt loads and enjoyed it thoroughly. Money well spent.'

'Griff' Illustrator for the Marines - Plymouth

'Well done Beej and thanks very much the day was great and you did a great job, truly outstanding, I learned a lot more than I imagined and you put it over really well. Anyone who is good at what they do makes something look effortless, you achieved that in volumes and made it look really simple to us the 'Virgins'. It was a huge learning curve for me and I enjoyed the challenge, the whole process of actually making the decision to come along and trying this medium for myself has been a great experience from start to finish and I am looking forward to next week now immensely having lost my airbrushing 'Cherry' so to speak!'

Andrew Thompson - Andover, talking about the Beginners 1 Day Class

'Thank you for a great day last Friday, I enjoyed it very much and learn't a great deal,I really didn't want to put the airbrush down once we had started. You have inspired me to give this airbrushing malarky a real good go and can't wait to get my hands on my own airbrush. Once I have mastered the basics I'll be back to learn some more and look forward to airbrushing with you again. You are a great inspiration to me and I intend to go as far as I can with this, it's now a dream of mine to one day make some sort of a living out of airbrushing.'

Mike Giles - Sheffield, talking about the Beginners 1 Day Class

'I'd just like to say a BIG thank you for last weeks class and the time spent to organise such a brill informative course! I loved every min from the second I turned up to unfortunalty the time I had to leave, my airbrush skills have definalty improved and I now look forward to starting more projects or just airbrushing anything that stays still for longer than a second! haha. The only downside is ......................... no cant think of one! Truly amazing time Beej thanks a million dude! Loved it! I'd recomend it to anybody wanting to improve there airbrush skills.'

Tom Bootyman - Chesterfield, talking about the 4 day Custom Painting Workshop
