Here's what I've bin working on for past few days. Dave at Customise Perfection laid down a beaut white pearl basecoat and then brown artwork is Etac EFX500 Wheeler Smoke (I LOVE this color!) with Custom Micron CMC+. Masked of areas with application paper and Ultra Mask for 'ripped metal' around curves. A move back to more freehand, Organic artwork after the knights job and is absolutely what I love to do best . . . |

Here is the stencil on the tank. I traced the centre section so I could flip it over and re-align for the left side. I actually used 2 pieces of A4 acetate and taped them at the edges but the heat oif the stencil cutter melted them anyway into one - cool! |

Now I have removed the stencils and take up the Micron CMC+ to freehand the detail - my favourite bit . . Linkin Park and then Hands Zimmer are playing LOUD today and I am in the ZONE! I love this job man . . |

OK, so now with those pesky stencils off I've detailed over the scales and created a backbone-like structure down the central coloumn. The idea is that the dragon is trapped within the Valkyrie so this is the back of the head now. |

Color time! And today it's HOK KK's and first over the Wheeler Smoke is . . Pagan Gold |

Followed very closely by Kandy Apple Red - mmmmmm, blood! |

You can see I've removed all the masking now from the white pearl except for the 'ripped metal' surrounding the dragon tears. I will paint drop-shadows in here to make them stand-off and then go back in and detail the 'curls and furls' of metal.
