| For those of you who are new to Organic Image this year, Beej Curtis has been painting professionally for 28 years and has produced 1000's of images, murals, signs, tattoo designs, backdrops, airbrush and advertising art, digital 3D and Adobe Photoshop + Illustrator art and illustrations for some prestigious companies and international clients.
For the past 6 years Beej has focused his airbrush on Kustom Paint and Automotive Airbrushing which has won him some prestigious awards including ranking 3rd recently in the world for the True Fire Flame painting competition judged by Mike Lavallee of Killer Paint in the USA (True Fire DVD's, Overhaulin', Rides, Monster Garage, Miami Ink)
Beej has been imparting his knowledge in Airbrush Art Classes for the last 4 years and before this taught 1st and 2nd Year Students at Poole College of Art and Design. In August last year he taught along-side 2 of the world's best known airbrush artists and pinstripers - Craig Fraser & Steve Vandemon from California - at Worthing College for the 6 Day UK/USA Masterclasses which was amazing fun and such a fantastic experience.
'I'm not gonna profess that I am the best at what I do or that I am more qualified than anyone else here in the UK or anywhere else for that matter,' says Beej this week when asked about his airbrush classes, 'There are some incredible artists in the UK and Europe, that is for sure, and I respect others' creative ability. But I love teaching, I love talking to folks and imparting the knowledge I have gained from the last 28 years of professional career in Art and Design and I promise all students a very relaxed atmosphere, good fun, focused and personal tuition tailored to each individual!'

Beginners Airbrush Art Class Ref: classexplanation
This is a 1 Day workshop On Wednesday (with the option to book Thurs and Friday too for a 3 day Airbrush Experience - See Below) covering basics for beginners through to more advanced tricks and airbrush art instruction. How to control the airbrush, different types of airbrushes and why we need them, getting details with the right paints, how to render cool texture effects and LOTS more!
Using brand new, water-based, non-solvent and safe Auto-Borne paints and Auto-Air Candy Pigments. There will be lots of info on how to make paint work effectively for you and tips on airbrushing flames, skulls and incredibly detailed, freehand airbrush artwork.

Killer Dragon Painting ClassRef: KillerDragons

Preparing Artwork & Visuals

| | We'll show you how to utilise Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to design your files and make changes quickly and easily. You will then use these images for reference to paint the vinyl using water-based, Auto Air paint. This is a quick and cost-effective way of utilising the latest water-based paint systems to add simple fades or elaborate designs to plain ol' plotter-cut vinyl!
