 | Jim Morrison - The Legend
I received an email from Rachel, an excited new customer, who said she was buying a trike for her husband as a present. (Cool wife  ) She planned on giving it to him on his return from Iraq (they are both in the Armed Forces) and she wanted Organic Image to do the bizz on the paint scheme for her.
Her hubby had seen a bike themed on The Who with portraits if the band and his idol was Jim Morrison of the Doors. Rachel said that she wanted flames with the portrait and then we decided it would be cool to get some lyrics from a song in there too. We chose, 'Try to set the night on fire', which would compliment the flames perfectly! So, time to get some visuals done . . |

| after the first coat of flames and some Kandy Apple Red, it's time to give Jim a makeover! Hopefully, no going back at this stage so it has to be right, although, if I hated it, I could sand the KK off as I had cleared it previously. The gun I'm using here is an Iwata LPH50 which is a great little gun for laying on KK's. I've also got a digital BAR readout on the gun which gives me perfect air supply of .9 BAR. Remember, this an HVLP gun, High Volume Low Pressure. |

| More yellow over the Apple Red and Tangerine and then layers of Pagan Gold, really make the flame jobs pop in the sunlight. |

So, after being transported back up North to Bolton where the Boom boys put it all back together, Rachel flew over from Germany to collect it at Manchester Airport and then hit the road South to Southampton to come say hi and show us it all finished! She was so pleased that she wanted to marry me! LOL! I like it when customers are THAT happy. |
