Sibling R1 gallery Createx Auto Air paint
Sketches were created for Sibling and then enlarged on computer and printed
out. these were then used as the basis of transferring the images onto the
bike using chalk.
Once the rough chalk sketches were in place time to grab the airbrush and
get rocking! All the artwork on Sibling was freehanded with exception of the
odd loose, hand-held mask. The belly pan was done completely freehand with
no prelim sketch at all and most of the tiny skulls/monsters which feature
in the heavy detail just 'appear' as I'm painting. .
. . weird, I know, but free association drawing/painting is the best way
to create. Just open up your mind and let it go, see what comes out. You should
take a pencil a sketch pad and an hour on your own somewhere in your favourite
place.. see what happens. ~ Beej
